Indianapolis Colts nose tackle David Parry was arrested in Scottsdale on Saturday.

Police arrested Parry, 24, just after 2:30 a.m. when they found the cart crashed into a gate and Parry on the sidewalk nearby, apparently drunk.

"(Officers) were able to locate Parry a short distance away", Scottsdale Police Sgt. and public information officer Ben Hoster said.

Parry was arrested and charged with suspicion of robbery, auto theft, criminal damage, resisting arrest and DUI.

Per the report, Parry and two others were allegedly given a ride from a bar, and when the driver went to collect payment from the other two, Parry allegedly hit him in the head and stole his "transportation cart". Parry antagonized the officers, using gay slurs and calling them "fat f--s", according to officers.

Asked how much he had to drink, Parry told the officers "a lot" and "more than I should have been", according to the report. Police also did not administer a breath test because of Parry's repeated "dry heaving", but drew blood from his arm, which is legal to do without a warrant in Arizona.

Messages left with the team were not immediately returned Monday night.

New Colts general manager Chris Ballard will likely address the incident when he talks to the media during the scouting combine Wednesday.

Parry was a fifth-round pick out of Stanford in 2015, and has started every game the past two years for the Colts.
