Gov. Wolf announces travel restrictions ahead of snow storm

Earlier Monday, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced he had signed a " Disaster Emergency" due to Tuesday's expected snowfall.

"It looks like we're really going to get hit hard in just about every part of Pennsylvania", Wolf said in a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

According to NBC 10 News, about 20 inches of snow fell during the storm, and a snowplow helped the caravan reach their destination.

She said snow is expected to snarl morning commutes Tuesday morning.

"State agencies continue to take proactive steps to ensure Pennsylvania is ready for the incoming winter weather and Pennsylvanians should take their own precautions and prepare for adverse conditions, especially for travel", Governor Wolf said in the release.
