The crew promptly responded to her distress call in order to assist the mother deliver the baby during the flight.

The unexpected little guest made happy all passengers of Turkish Airlines' TK538 Conakry-Ouagadougou flight. She and her mother were taken to hospital when the flight landed in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

After a successful delivery and hearty round of applause, the cabin crew posed for selfies with the newborn.

Turkish Airlines welcomed the event on social media by posting the message: "Welcome on board Princess!".

The airline company was just as pleased, taking it to Twitter to congratulate the birth and applauding the cabin crew for their efforts.
