Not quite sure about what's about to happen, and definitely sure she's not letting go of that familiar hand, Nevaeh waits with other children for the beginning of the Easter egg hunt in Alamosa's Boyd Park.

A dozen plastic eggs were "golden eggs" with certificates redeemable for prizes, including free time at Deer Creek Courts, a three-foot stuffed bunny, slip 'n slide toys, water balloon launchers and for one victor, a family pass to the city's Hidden Creek Aquapark.
