LaVar Ball makes "disrespectful" comments, Big Baller Brand not a women's company

Lavar Ball and Lonzo Ball The Los Angeles Lakers are still interested in Lonzo Ball despite his controversial father La Var Ball

"I think in order to have a successful company, you're going to have to have women who like your brand", Leahy later said.

Ball appeared on Colin Cowherd's FS1 show on Wednesday, and he was being his usual stuff.

When Cowherd pointed out Leahy was a reporter, Ball informed him "she can report to whoever she wants behind her".

Having been initially pegged as a guaranteed best-seller in the making, analytics would seem to suggest that a relatively paltry 500 pairs of the sneakers have so far been sold.

That's when Leahy weighed in. LaVar referred to Leahy as a "hater" and told her to "stay in your lane", before adding more comments which came across in a threatening manner. She scares me, that's why I don't look over there.

Leahy: I have a right...

Ball continued to speak, addressing Cowherd only. Cowherd interjected: "She's a reporter".

"Markelle Fultz is the guy I like the best in this group of prospects", said longtime National Basketball Association consultant Ryan Blake, who raved about Fultz's versatility, floor vision, outside shot and passing.

No one had a clue as to why Ball went off the way that he did until social media did some digging and found a video of Leahy implying that LaVar Ball was an abusive father to his kids. Most expect that pick to be Lonzo Ball, who the Lakers are reportedly "enamored" with.

If Pelinka sees Lonzo Ball's relationship with his father as "similar" to his own, it might give the Lakers even more confidence that everything would work out fine no matter how much pressure LaVar Ball's mouth creates for his son to perform.

Ball: I heard you say it.

Leahy then interjected again: "So you disrespect women and people for their weight?" "I'm talking to you, Colin". "Something's coming to you". "I would never threaten you".

"I don't know what it is", he said. "I'm not a psychic". But a lot of women count themselves as National Basketball Association fans, and if he doesn't check his attitude, LaVar Ball will quickly find himself damaging his son's National Basketball Association career before it has even started.
