New iPhone 8 Drawing Leak Suggests Rear-Facing Touch ID Sensor

Dual-lens camera setup TPK hikes 3D Touch price for iPhone with OLED, says paper

Evidence that Apple is planning to launch three iPhone models later this year appears to be mounting as a new supply chain leak emerges. While the iPhone 8 will be of the same size as the iPhone 7s, it will flaunt a 5.8-inch display thanks to its near invisible bezels. Are you willing to pay more than $1,000 for the iPhone 8? The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus are expected to be iterative updates, while the anniversary phone iPhone 8 will see more radical changes. While previous reports claimed that the iPhone 8 will pack a display the size of an iPhone 7 Plus into the form factor of an iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 may actually be slightly larger if we assume that the molds above were all aligned uniformly. This news arrives amid speculations that Apple's iPhone 8 might cost $1,000 when it launches this fall.

The Apple's iconic flagship smartphone will take things to the next stage once the impending iPhone 8 is officially released later this year. In fact, a handful of reports have even said that Cupertino-based tech titan might push back the iPhone 8 release date all the way to 11th month of the year. All three variants are rumored to feature wireless charging, but some suggest the iPhone 8 could go on sale later than its two siblings and, by extension, sport a much higher price tag. This price is more than double the $7-$9 cost TPK now charges for the 3D Touch component used in current iPhones. There's no telling what Apple's final design is, but totally removing a marquee feature is highly unlikely.

We have already seen such wonders been achieved by Samsung with the Infinity displays in Samsung Galaxy S8 that has helped even the bigger device measure along the lines of a 5.5-inch device.

What to know about travel ban appeals
Circuit Court of Appeals in Seattle heard arguments Monday in a lawsuit filed by Hawaii over the ban. Dozens of activists gathered Monday morning, some carrying "No Ban, No Wall" signs.

The other (less desirable option) is to risk quality control in the components of the iPhone 8 - such problems could hurt the Apple brand. Apple too would follow the likes if the leaks stay true.

Additionally, according to Goldman Sachs, the OLED display itself is 35 dollars more expensive to produce than an LCD panel.

We're hoping that Apple is willing to absorb so more of the additional costs, to keep its special edition iPhone 8 within reach of more people.
