24 May, 2017, 04:17
Up to the current gen OnePlus device, we haven't had that many color options. The "5" instead of "S" clearly states that OnePlus is talking about its upcoming smartphone. This makes us believe that the company is thinking of a fifth color variant of the smartphone that might be kept as a secret.
Whatever be the colour options, the new device from OnePlus is expected to give a tough competition to the premium segment phones like Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7. Android Headlinesreports that Zuotu was asked on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo whether the OnePlus 5 would come with a fingerprint sensor on the front of the device rather than the back.
The company has recently posted on twitter, asking "What 5hould the colour of your next phone be?". Accompanying the tweet was an image with four color tabs including black, red, gold and a gradient tone which the company later referred to as "Unicorn".
