On Wednesday afternoon local time, the contractor (whose name has not been released) was fixing a lock in a room connected to a Bank of America ATM when, suddenly, he trapped himself in.

"Apparently he left his cell phone and the swipe card he needed to get out of the room outside in his truck", Lt Hooper said.

Whenever a bank customer would make a transaction at the ATM, the repairmen would slip the customer a little note along with their receipt.

In an interesting incident, an ATM of Bank of America has been spotted dispensing handwritten notes that have been scribbled with an appeal "Please Help". "I don't have my phone", one of the notes read.

"Please help. I'm stuck in here".

An officer kicked down the door to reveal the author of the notes.

Officers said that they believed the man was trapped there for two hours.
