Colbert's interview won't be Scaramucci's first since leaving the White House.

TV executives will have been vying to book Mr Scaramucci, whose brief tenure cost him his marriage, and so the appearance will be seen as a coup for Colbert, a regular critic of U.S. president Donald Trump.

Wisdom has dictated that people "have to go away to come back", but, ya know, Anthony Scaramucci recently told a New Yorker writer that he was not one to "suck my own cock", so perhaps we should assume The Mooch is not one for norms.
