What can you now order through Facebook?

Facebook now lets you order food without leaving Facebook Facebook's food delivery feature now brings Five Guys to all

If the restaurant partners with multiple food-ordering companies, a menu pops up asking users which service they want to order through. It will also work with several chain restaurants including Jimmy John's and Chipotle.

A new "order food" feature rolled out for U.S. users lets Facebook users order delivery or takeout from restaurant chains such as Papa John's and Panera, and on-demand services including Delivery.com and DoorDash. As TechCrunch points out, Facebook isn't even charging any fees or sharing any portion of the profits from orders placed via its app.

What's more, you'd still have to log in to any accounts you already have with a delivery service. Once you choose one of the services, that is when the actual ordering takes place.

A British jihadist reportedly killed by a USA drone strike in Syria should have faced trial, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said. News of her death was not made public amid fears that her 12-year-old son Jojo may also have been killed, according to The Sun .

Facebook wants to develop itself as a one-stop solution for nearly all you need. Basically, the company is introducing an in-app browser so you can order a meal. People already use reviews on Facebook business pages to help decide where to order from next, along with recommendations from their social circle. You will also pay within Facebook, in an experience powered by either Delivery.com or Slice.

It'll be available at launch in the United States only, and it's rolling out from today to Facebook's apps on iOS, Android and the desktop (Web). You do have to create an account with an individual delivery provider if you're ordering through their service on Facebook (say Delivery.com), but you don't have to leave the social network to do it. From local spots to national chains, Facebook connects you with old favorites and new discoveries in just a few taps. Rather, Facebook is partnering with existing services like DoorDash and Grubhub.

It's another phase of Facebook's continued efforts to make its app extra-sticky, and reduce the number of times users feel the need to exit it.
